We have an immediate opening for a Technical Support Specialist for a 1-year contract opportunity with a company in Cary, NC.
In this role, you will resolve technical problems and answer questions by telephone in support of customer computer hardware, software, network, and telecommunications systems. You will facilitate the resolution of Tier I/II User Support issues via the help desk, through phone calls, emails, and/or voicemails. Analyst Tier I/II issues for resolutions and document via trouble ticket tracking database, and escalated unsolved Tier I issues to the technical support staff. Diagnose, identify, isolate, and analyst problems utilizing expertise in customer service and technical knowledge. You will route calls to desktop, network, or email support specialists as well as maintain and update records and track databases. Alert management to recurring problems.
The qualified candidate must have a minimum HS Diploma or Associate's Degree along with 5 years experience serving as a Technical Support Representative. You must have good customer service skills along with experience working with MS Office 2003/2007 products, as well as experience with Windows 2000, XP, and Vista operating systems.
